SAY Seltzer RTD’s, Jaloviina, a new non-alcohol category and world class cocktails.  This is part of the Anora growth category. 

Anora’s Global Marketing Team is hunting for a driven Sr. Brand Manager to build a modern spirits category with us. Working with the important future growth team in the global organization, our group focus on building a brand portfolio and brand concepts in the market, understanding both how retail and monopolies work and above all: know the consumer! 

Are you the dedicated and structured brand builder with experience from consumer-oriented retail? Do you have a commercial mindset and solid project management skills?Join us on this challenge! In this role you drive the plans of our brands and build them even further on our way to take on market shares. 

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be owning projects within our growing RTD segment, you will help build the future within non-alcohol category and you will move initiatives and activations from global to local. You will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of strategic and tactical consumer and on-trade marketing activities as well as support our country sales and marketing teams in growing our business – all to enhance the growth and profitability of our brands. 

The working location is in our Helsinki office, in Finland. Some travel, especially at the beginning of the journey, is expected. 

Key Responsibilities

You implement our brand strategy and build local brand and marketing plans for both retail and Alko. You are the provider of key consumer insights, brand strategy, and new product developments that we deliver to our markets. You challenge and support the local team and help prepare materials for strong delivery and presentation. 

To succeed in this role you need to be self-starter and a strong doer. The team you work with is based around the Nordics, so networking, proactively asking questions when you encounter new situations and endless curiosity will help. We want you to be able to SAY what you need and co-create the brand interest together with local teams. This way you will build the category further. 

You are responsible for analyzing market data and look for opportunities for our brand presence in the given markets. Through strong brand management, you will ensure reaching agreed KPI´s on short and long term.

  • Project management of new global initiatives
  • Driving NPD’s from end-to-end
  • Optimizing budget spend to deliver our commercial objectives
  • Brief external agencies, freelancers, and internal creative teams

Your background 

  • Degree in Business or Marketing and strong business acumen
  • 5+ years of experience in brand development and building, preferably from the FMCG industry
  • Proactive approach: solid project management skills and ability to collaborate and lead in matrix as on own initiative 
  • Strong analytical and commercial sense 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Passion for marketing in general and brand building in particular
  • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English, European languages are considered an asset

We appreciate experience with Alko, beverage / alcohol business, but knowledge of Finnish retail and the ‘go do it’ – SAY attitude are even more important.
