IT SOLUTION SPECIALIST

As Lindström’s new IT Solution Specialist, you will define and manage the development of various IT solutions while keeping in mind the business needs of the solution area. This role is suited well for someone who is in the beginning of their career, and ready to learn more about working with solution development and management. You will be working closely with development teams to coordinate solution development work, particularly in the field of Lindström’s Customer Solutions (e.g. our customer portal eLindström). In the future, other focus areas may be added, depending on the overall situation and your interests. Your location will be at our Head Office in Kalasatama, Helsinki, where we are working in a hybrid model. 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• IT Solution management and contributing to solution development work
• Coordinating IT solution development throughout the development lifecycle
• Ensuring all development lifecycle phases are observed: scope, design, develop, test, and release
• Ensuring continuous IT solution improvements to drive standardization, automation, and user experience
• Ensuring IT solution documentation is up to date
• Ensuring quality assurance and testing processes are followed during the development release cycle
• Proactively identifying, proposing, preparing, and implementing solution improvements 
• Contributing to projects and cross-solution development

Our ideal candidate has:

• Experience in and the ability to coordinate solution design work
• Experience in and the ability to translate business requirements into solution capabilities
• Ability to visualize and document concepts in an easily understandable way
• Understanding of the development lifecycle of IT solutions
• Understanding of IT solution development methodologies and business processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
