Electrotechnical Officers – ETOs

We are looking for Electrotechnical Officers – ETOs for permanent employment to support and make possible our stable growth while we will have two new Eco-Efficient Superstar ropax vessels in traffic during 2023 and at the same time there will be open positions in our existing fleet when the nominations for the new vessels will be done. 

During the end half of year 2023 we will receive and begin traffic with two next generation Superstar ropax vessels, Finnsirius 09/2023 ja Finncanopus 12/2023, Vessels have been carefully designed to Naantali- Långnäs-Kapellskär-line including cargo related needs and totally new modern customer service concept and experience. Operational aspects, efficient cargo loading, environmental aspects, employee experience and customer experience have been in the core of design and planning. By combining the capacity of 5100 lane meters and 1100 passengers we are in the front line of responsible and sustainable shipping.  

ETOs are responsible for monitoring all electronic and electrical equipment onboard to maximize the operational safety and efficiency of the vessel under the Chief Engineer’s overview. An electro technical officer is one of the most important people on a vessel, especially when it comes to the expertise of handling electrical equipment of the vessel. The work periods can be agreed to be 2 to 3 weeks depending on the vessels’s route.
