Safety Manager

We invest in the development of safety, and we are looking for a 

SAFETY MANAGER

Your goal is to secure our operating methods to such a level that we avoid e.g. work accidents. You are responsible for safety at the Reka Kaapeli level, and the most central area of safety is occupational health and safety.

You develop and create new operating processes, which you then implement together with the line organization. You participate integrally in Nexans-level security cooperation. Practical examples of the processes you are responsible for are the hazard notification process, the work accident investigation process, the machine and equipment risk identification process, and continuous improvement practices. You report to the Production Director.

What we expect from you

Strong interest and preferably evidence of safety development. Knowledge of ISO 45001 is important, although our level of requirements exceeds it. Experience in an industrial environment and suitable education (e.g. university of applied sciences-level) provides a strong foundation for success. 

Your interaction interface is wide, so cooperation, flexibility and extroversion are important qualities. Training and coaching could be one of your passions, as you work as a chief safety trainer. In addition to Finnish, you need English in your work.
