Country Manager Sugarbeet for Finland

KWS Scandinavia is looking for a Country Manager for Sugarbeet for Finland.
The future Country Manager will be actively leading and managing the commercial operations of KWS Sugarbeet in Finland. This includes developing and executing the business strategy to ensure steady and profitable sales growth through management, marketing, and development of the company’s products on the Finish market. In this exciting role you would furthermore be supporting our Cereals business in Finland in collaboration with the responsible for cereals in the region.

The position is offered on a remote full-time basis and with an unlimited contract in Finland.

These will be your main tasks:

  • Representation of the Business Unit Sugarbeet in Finland to local state authorities, administration, institutes, customers, distributors and competitors.
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts and relationship to clients, institutes and state authorities.
  • Work closely with KWS headquarters in Germany on all aspects of budgeting, sales planning, production expectations, changes in these processes, risk assessments and key projects.
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring sales targets and action plans together with the Regional Director for Sugarbeet North Europe.
  • Evaluating, developing, and implementing clear objectives for sales & marketing strategy.
  • Preparation and proposal for approvement of sales plan, proposing and implementing methods for cost reduction or efficiency increase.
  • Preparation of periodic reports on market development and news towards the Regional Director.
  • Support the cereals business in Finland, e.g., planning common field days, farmer- and dealer contact as well other parts of the value. chain in collaboration and coordination with the responsible for cereals in the region.


Your profile:

  • University degree preferably in agricultural economics, business administration or marketing & sales.
  • Business fluent language skills in Finish and English. Swedish is a plus.
  • Several years operative sales experience, preferably in agricultural sector.
  • Customer orientation, friendly personality, open-mindedness and good communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills on a professional level.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experienced IT user in Microsoft Office, Salesforce etc.
  • Analytical thinking and structured working style.Ability to take responsibility, judge, understand and solve problems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly (> 30%).
  • Car driving license.
