PLM Business Coordinator

We are now looking for two PLM Business Coordinators:

  • 1 for Electrical engineering, E-room engineering, location plan design, cable routing
  • 1 for  Pipe engineering, Pre-coordination (3D piping, ducting), engine room arrangements, detail coordination.

Your responsibilities

As a business process expert, the PLM Business Coordinator is the main contact person and coordinator in the change process on behalf of the departments (process owner). The PLM Business Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Ensuring processes are adhered to and “flow” continuously 
  • Continuous communication with application management (PLM IT Coordinator, IT role)
  • Creating functional specification
  • Consulting and Supporting the Masterusers
  • Organizing of tests to ensure that rolled out releases meet the customer’s requirements
  • Coordinating the execution of tests with the aim of ensuring the stability of releases that are to be rolled out (preparation (organizational and content)
  • Monitoring the implementation and documentation of the tests carried out and communicating the consolidated test result.

Who we are looking for

We hope you have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.

Experience in marine or shipbuilding industry, with a focus on machinery arrangements and design, will help you succeed in the position. We are looking for someone with strong understanding of marine engineering principles.

Proficiency in using CAD software like AutoCAD, Catia, Cadmatic, etc. is also needed. Co-operation is important in this role, so we are also looking for someone with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
