We are looking for a new Product Assistant to join our Product Specification team!

As our Product Assistant, you will support our Product Specialists in Product and Platform development and product data quality management on a global level. You will also coordinate and execute defined product data maintain tasks. You will work as a part of our global Product Specification Team which is responsible for technical product and platform development and supplier manufacturing capability. Our Product Specialists and Pattern Designers ensure production readiness from product data to sample validation. You will be located in our Head Office in Kalasatama, Helsinki, but we also support a flexible working culture to enable you to succeed in your work. 

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Supporting product and platform development projects by creating defined technical drawings
  • Keeping all technical drawings up-to-date and available in PLM and other Product Management tools.
  • Supporting Product Specialists in independent tasks according to the project schedule/work process description
  • Coordinating and executing supplier transfer orders and procurement driven product data updates in co-operation with Procurement, Pattern Department, Back Office and garment suppliers
  • Guiding the external partners and stakeholders to work according to Lindström definition. 
  • Assuring product data approval actions and following up for new product versions 
  • Creating and maintaining general level manuals, forms and instructions
  • Spreading information and answering questions in selected channels (e.g. Yammer).

To succeed in this role, we hope you have: 

  • Previous experience in product development in clothing industry and understanding of garment constructions
  • Relevant University/University of Applied Sciences Degree
  • Good/excellent skills on Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent program)
  • Ability to work independently in an organized way and to keep track, coordinate and execute defined tasks
  • Good communication and co-operation skills as well as time management skills
  • Fluent Finnish and English language skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow professionally!
