Patria Portfolio Mission Capabilities Weapon Systems is looking for new 

Product Manager for Nemo critical components.

Work will take place mainly in Tampere, but some travelling will be included. Working partly in Hämeenlinna and / or remotely is also possible. As a Product Manager You will be responsible for certain critical main components of Patria NEMO. You will work in co-operation with several interest groups, such as testing, procurement, system suppliers and customers. Other tasks around Patria’s Weapon Systems Portfolio shall also be appointed.

Main focus is on certain components and their life cycle management. You will act on a system design level with ability to guide the implementation of the concepts. Any knowledge on Sight systems, Inertial navigation units and Servo systems used in military applications is of great benefit.

Key responsibilities:

Nemo’s critical subsystem product management: 

1. ITAR, EAR, BAFA, export licenses etc. of all below

2. Navigation subsystem R&D :

  • Sea&Land
  • forced position, etc.
  • GPS receivers, Atm. pressure + temp. sensor

3. Servo system

  • Export Licences
  • Tuning for different platforms (with experts)

4. DFSS

  • Technical R&D management
  • Requirements 

5. TMC/FMC

  • SAAB / other
  • Requirements
  • Nemo needs / customer needs

6. Muzzle velocity radar

  • integration

(Possibly Nemo connectability to higher echelons)

  • BMS of any kind 
  • Integration levels and methods

Obsolescence and configuration management of all above

Requirements for the selected person:

  • Experience in similar tasks
  • Relevant technical degree (engineer or master of science in engineering)
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Office 365 and knowledge of other relevant systems
