Security Instructor, Hamina

We are looking for one full-time Security Instructor for Data Center security operations located in Hamina. Are you interested in working in a challenging, ever changing and growing environment where you have a chance to develop your own skills and knowledge while overtaking tasks that include planning training modules and improving security standards? 

You will be developing programs to maintain and improve the skills and tools for our Security professionals and maintaining communications globally with your colleagues. 

We expect a solid background in the security field, and proficiency in spoken and written Finnish and English from all our applicants. Previous experience as a Security Trainer / Instructor is preferred. Being familiar with the Data Center in Hamina will be seen as an advantage for the applicants. 

Ability for organizing and executing first aid training is seen as an advantage. 

Specific position duties include:

• Classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) of new security officers. 
• Refresher training and training of new subjects, updated procedures, and policies for security personnel. 
• Conducting security exercises, tests and training 
• Creating, developing, and updating security personnel training materials. 
• Identifying possible areas of weaknesses in security procedures, creating training plans to address the issue. 
• Creating, developing, and updating various metrics to follow and document the standards, level, and quality of training. 

Being successful in this position requires flexibility, good knowledge of Google Workspace apps or similar, precision, solid interactional and teamwork skills. Also problem solving ability and willingness to adapt to new rules and procedures are very valuable. 

The individual selected for this position is required to undergo a medical examination, including a drug test. A valid guard license (vartijakortti) is also required.
