About the job

We are looking to welcome a new Service Desk Specialist to our bilingual Service Desk team! The position is permanent and full time. You will be based in Oulu, working in both Finnish and English, having the support of local colleagues as well as team mates all over the globe. 

In this job you process support requests from our customers via email, phone and chat, with an emphasis on first-contact resolution. On a daily basis your tasks involve troubleshooting videoconference and digital signage  equipment, and providing guidance to users. We support and constantly learn from each other, so you will never be alone if faced with a challenge. We follow a Monday to Friday support model with rotating shifts within 07-18.

Who are we looking for?

We don’t expect anyone to be a fully learned, perfect unicorn, because the fun part of a job is constantly learning and developing, right? If you tick most of these boxes, though, you may actually be quite close to a unicorn!

  • 2+ years of experience in a service desk or an IT environment, with good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent in Finnish (C1 minimum) and English (B2 level minimum)
  • A willingness to help people, work together in a team and support one another, like us others 🙂
  • Knowledge of IP networks and video conferencing is a big plus, but also something you will definitely learn on the job!
