We are currently looking for

Backend Developer

to strengthen our gaming systems development crew. We are passionate about being a gaming sector developer that offers its customers the world’s best gaming experience. Veikkaus games are being played several millions of rounds every day – everything must work smoothly and reliably 24/7. We develop using agile methods and believe that relaxed atmosphere, awesome co-workers, and self-driven teams are in key role when creating the best customer experiences.
 

Relevant technologies for this role could include Java, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Scala, Kotlin, REST, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Grafana, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS, GCP and Linux. You probably are familiar with some of these technologies and an eager learner and willing to broaden your skillset even further. 

 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• At least three years development experience on the server side 
• Hands-on experience with Java or GO and PostgreSQL
• API & database schema design experience
• Passion for creating and publishing high quality software
• Great team player skills
• Work proficiency in Finnish and/or English language
