Data Analyst trainee

We are looking for Data Analyst trainee in VR’s Digital Services team in Helsinki.  The role of Digital Services team is to provide our customers the best customer experience through our digital services such as vr.fi and VR Matkalla app. The position is temporary for 6 months.

As a Data Analyst you will support the digital development teams in gathering customer data and insight, making sure our data quality is on high level and reports are up to date. You will help the teams in making future design and feature development decisions based on data. You will continuously monitor the service’s performance and dig out interesting figures for the teams to support their development work. You will work closely with Product Owners, Designers, other analysts and stakeholders and support them in decision making processes.

You have

• problem solving and business development mindset
• preferably some previous experience in implementing analytics solutions with Google Analytics
• interest to gather meaningful data and produce visual reports using Google Analytics and Data Studio
• you are a team player, precise, analytical and interested in customer centric digital product development using data-driven decision making
