The holder of the position will be responsible for managing and developing sales of all Delphi product ranges within assigned Key Accounts/Buying Groups/Customers to the agreed budgeted level and plan with focus on the Finnish Independent Aftermarket (IAM). The role is also varied in terms of responsibilities to cover aspects that are needed within the budgeted area.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop sales and support of Delphi products and workshop solution to Finnish IAM.   
  • Succeed in achieving BBP set targets on Revenue/Growth/Profitability and Payment (past due).
  • Preparation and submission of bids for new requests/tenders.
  • Client point of contact: distributors and prospects need Identification etc.
  • Project management, sales lifecycle management.
  • Work with Northern Region Marketing/Product/Pricing Teams to Ensure smooth information flow with both internal and external team ex: promotions etc.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships: customers etc.
  • Work with Northern Region Marketing/Product/Pricing Teams to Support Sales growth via promotions.
  • Acquisition of new projects to ensure the growth objectives in accordance with business plan commitments.
  • Implement price recommendations, business case and price change support.
  • Working with and report to NORDIC Sales Manager and Marketing/Product – Produce message, NTR and range coverage communication – plan regular meetings with Key Accounts/Buying Groups/Customers and Workshops that you have responsibility for to communicate these messages.
  • Working with Tech Services – push online and physical training needs and develop revenues in line with budget.
  • Monitor competitor benchmarking, customer needs and local market trends and insights.
  • Drive customer engagement, share of wallet analysis and market share gain.
  • Within set Key Accounts/Buying Groups/Customers be responsible for the Implementation of the Diagnostics go-to-market strategy in line with Product strategy
  • On occasions participate in activities in the other Nordic countries as well as internal meetings and trainings mainly in United Kingdom.
  • The job involves working from your home office and frequent travel, mainly in Finland, approximately 3 days per week.

What we are looking for

  • NORDICS Aftermarket knowledge
  • Experience in dealing with Key NORDIC buying groups and customers.
  • Electronic system knowledge
  • Ability to train and demonstrate all types of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
  • Qualified in vehicle diagnostics operating systems.
  • Recognized qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Prepared to work flexibly with frequent travel
  • Fluent Finnish and English communication skills – the company language is English. Swedish is a benefit for the applicant, but not mandatory.

  • A solid understanding of the Automotive Aftermarket, Parts Supply industry or Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Industry.
  • Strategic Thinker with a “can do” attitude and ability to work under pressure and respond quickly and positively to opportunities.
  • Ability to articulate clear vision into action plans. 
  • Ability to establish a high-performance ethic and culture that is committed to growth, creativity, innovation, change and consistent achievement of clear and challenging objectives.
  • Team player – comfortable leading key account relationships with a can-do attitude and sense of humor
  • Exceptional judgement – knowing when to escalate and when to deal with an issue directly.
  • Curious, enquiring mind, understanding and appreciation of the commercial and strategic mix and interdependencies. 
  • Commercial acumen and a passion to drive the strategic plans forward, able to analyze and produce reports and recommendations.
  • Builds trust with key stakeholders and understand the customer perspective.
  • Be the “Go-To” contact Internally and Externally for the customers/accounts you are responsible for.
